Yesterday was Mother's Day. It felt funny being so far away from my kids on Mother's Day, but I did get to talk to them 3 times despite the miles between us!
I didn't take any pictures, but I enjoyed my morning at SJ's church. Again, they have SO MANY fantastic, fun, godly people at her church. It's especially enjoyable to attend church without any responsibilities. As a Pastor's Wife, that doesn't happen very often!
After church we had lunch with some of her friends at a pancake house and then went to the mall with Manny and Anthony. They're a hoot... two great guys!
After the mall I got to meet SJ's brother and sister-in-law and their three lovely children. I also got to see my mug on the Huckabee show. We only watched like 5 minutes, but we were on there a TON!
Then we came home and went to bed. It felt so good to get such a good night sleep. I've had trouble falling asleep before 1:00 pm because of the time change but we've been running ourselves so ragged, I had no problem going to sleep at 10:30 and not waking up for 11 hours!
And that's that. That's how I spent yesterday, Mother's Day, day 7 of my East Coast Adventure!
Day 8 has now come to a close as well, but I have 325 pictures to sort through... so it might be a while til you see a post on that one!
