Nothin' But Green!

I wanted to try my hand at an "all green" smoothie this morning. With the exception of one banana, all of the ingredients in this smoothie are green. I thought I'd end up tasting it and deciding to throw some berries in to sweeten it up, but the cucumber and grapes provided plenty of sweetness. It actually turned out pretty good!




Here's the Recipe:

2 cups packed kale
1 banana
1 small avocado
1/2 cucumber (sliced)
2 cups green grapes
1 kiwi
2/3 cup coconut milk (or liquid of choice)
Ice and/or water to suit your consistency preferences

Hey Robyn, I've lurked on both your blogs for a very long time and I'm coming out to tell you thanks for the green smoothie recipes!! I started to try them after reading all your success with them and they are good! My favorite that I make right now is spinach, strawberries, banana, milk, water, ice and I add some chocolate protein powder in it too. I'm getting my daily veggies, fruits and extra protein in one drink that tastes really good and is good for you!! So again thanks for your postings on smoothies and making me come out from lurk land!

I honestly don't even remember how I found you as it was many years ago now. I'm just glad I did! I've watched Titus grow through your blog and Leeann blossom into a young lady. I don't blog, tried to do it once but never succeeded!
